The JARL will activate ten stations in different regions of Japan during the upcoming IARU HF Championship Contest 2008 on July 12/13.
All QSOs with these special event stations will be confirmed via buro.

EU-077. Members of the OCV DX Team will once again be on another DX- pedition for the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 26-27th). Look for them to be active as AM1S from the Island of Sisarga Grande (DIE O-137 for the Spanish Islands Award, WLOTA LH-0693).
They will operate as a Multi-Op/Low-Power entry in the contest.

Paul, A35RK, is finally getting back on the air after record-rainfall season. He informs OPDX that the waters are receding, but the bad weather has not only badly damaged their bush road (4WD required), but the lack of sunshine has severely restricted his availability of electrical power for several months.

The 4W6R team are flying back home: Dili (4W) - Darwin (VK) - Singapore (9V) - París (F) and finally Madrid (EA, 30 hours later).
They wish to thanks to the ham radio community for the help and sponsor.
They have made almost 16.000 QSO but the propagation were not enough good so they found to many times the bands closed.
