The Italian crew, led by Giovanni/IK1WEG, ( with Davide/IW1DQS, Gerry/IZ1DSH, Giorgio/IZ1DXS, Riccardo/IZ1GDB, Willy/IZ1HGM and Claudio/IZ1JMV ) will be active, airing three stations from St. Honorat, Lerins Islands (EU-058) on 17-18 May.
The special callsign asked is TM0IL, but at the moment the authorisation is always pending.
Maurice, F5NQL has been asked by Davide/IW1DQS, to contact the French authorities, but because of the Pentecost week end, no more information can be expected before next tuesday
If this special call sign will not be authorized, they will traffic using their own callsigns as F/HC.
All the QSO willbe confirmed automatically via the bureau. For direct one’s go to IZ1HGM.
Note : Maurice F5NQL on last Wednesday has contacted the French Agence Nationale des Frequences (ANFR) service, in charge of the special callsigns issuing, but unfortunately, on thisday there was a very important meeting, between the ANFR and the French IARU Society, REF-Union, about the future of Amateur Radio, in France; so nobody could say him, anything about this asked TM0IL callsign.
He will made a new attempt on next Tuesday.
