The VooDoo Contest Group will enter the CQ World-Wide CW contest on November 29-30th from Conakry, Guinea, as 3X5A in the multi-multi category.
This will be the group's 15th straight year in multi-multi from West Africa and our 20th straight year participating in CQWWCW.

Here is an update regarding our PJ2/PJ4 outing:

PJ2/PJ4 - Look for a group of operators to be active from Bonaire as PJ4E during the upcoming CQWW SSB contest.
WA4PGM, WK4Y, K6AM, K5GS, K4EJ, K0RAY and N0VD will likely operate as a M/M entry, but may change class depending on local circumstances.

Rachid, 3B8FQ, is planning to activate St. Brandon Island as 3B7FQ, in October.
The dates of the operation have not been determined.
As in April, when Rachid operated 3B6FQ from Agalega Is., this will be a working trip, with on-air activities shared with meteorological maintenance duties.
Rachid's 3B6FQ operation netted almost 500 QSO's from Agalega.

Yes, you got it right, for eleven days temperatures in this Far North region will have dropped to some 6C.
Spending almost a fortnight in a damp and cold lighthouse takes some determination. No shower and no reasonable sanitary facilities available.
