Journal de J5C:
January 2008 17th
This morning at 1009utc , 30,123 QSO are logged.
All is fine. No problem about the gear to be pointed out.
Some said us that however, it will be something out with one of our low band station, and concerning the K9AY ant commutation relay . This problem truncates the first dot of our CW transmisions. We are looking for to repair.
The conditions are better that we hoped on the lower bands, and without any real surprise on 10/12 and 15m.
The path to ZL, VK, JA, NA West Coast is very difficult now and if the Kp is over 2, the QSO’s are quite impossible to do.
The long path opennings to these countries are sure, but the windows are very sharp, from some minutes to half an hour, so we ask the other to be patient when we are calling them.
DIGIMODES:
On January 19th, beginning of the PSK31 and 63 transmissions , with a complete night on 30/PSK on next week-end.
SSTV will be scheduled , by lists on Sunday. Information to be given.
4 stations high power are running 24/24 . When 10 an 12m are open, the Backup Flex station (barefoot) is used as a 5th one on 20m.
The log book had been put online as follow:
