Hi
Last news from J5C by phone and Skype; Tks Pascal, F5JSD , Serge, F6AMlL and Thierry, F4TTR:
We are all in good form welcome yesterday evening by a super Gilles the Hôtel owner.
Internet was for some hours out of order but now the line is anew available. The 33kva generator runs full speed and instead of the four Acom 1010 PA’s, the light doesn’t weaken. No worry about power supply. All the antennas have been set up except the beverages for the low bands, which are scheduled to be to morrow. Some minor details are to be finalized too.
We start also this evening on 80m.
The traffic is already serious. We thank all of our friends who awaited us for their patience and fidelity.
First tries this night on 160 (even without the Beverages), by Pascal, F5JSD.
He will focus Asia . The JA window is very sharp, about 30 mn, so Pascal at this time will call CQ JA.
When doing, he ask the other to avoid calling J5C.
The final band and time planning will be published later.
We hope, for the first time in a F6KOP Dxpedition, to be able to upload the logbook, once a day on http://www.j5c.eu/
Be lucky , 73
Maurice, F5NQL, Internet Communications Officier, for J5C
