RARE ONE! Look for Mike/AD5A and his two sons, Michael/AB5EB and Jake/KB5SKN to activate Kalgin Island (NA-158), in the Kenai-Cook Inlet Group in August.

This Alaskan island has only been worked by 10% of the IOTA chasers.

Activity will take place sometime Friday, August 6th, and they will go QRT mid-afternoon (local time), on Sunday, August 8th.

Their plan is to have two stations on the air running 100 watts using two separate callsigns.
The CW callsign will be AD5A/KL5 and the SSB callsign will be AB5EB/KL0. The team will be equipped to operate on 6m
if the band opens up, but it will not be a priority.

QSL route will be announced as soon as it finalized.
