Hello John,
I thank you very much for asking. WB2LCH used to be my QSL manager but I lost all contact with him around 1999-2000 and then I came across a clipping of a DX bulletin (see attached) which in effect said that he was not collecting cards destined for him. I have tried to
establish contact with him without any luck. So for all intents and purposes I have no manager at present.
I qsl 100% to all the cards I receive. At present there is no functioning bureau here, so direct is the way to go.
Address as follows :-
Derek Steele, P.O.Box 536, St.George's, Grenada, West Indies
I am always open to queries as to QSL's received via E-mail as I do not know who has sent cards. Case in point was a statement made by of all persons Paul- F6EXV, (see attached) which he put on the cluster saying that I do not QSL. I sent him an E-mail asking him why was such a statement made. He said that he sent me 2 cards and he never got a reply. The truth is that I never received anything from him. Maybe it was lost in mail. Anyway I rectified that situation by sending him the cards via registered mail. Even with all the high costs associated with QSLing, I will always answer a card even if no postage or SAE is enclosed because I am from the old school of ham radio where gentlemen are gentlemen and should not have to BUY a qsl.
I also use LOtw and upload regularly. I will be uploading my old logs from 1990 and 1991 to LOTW shortly as now in the process of converting them from PAPER to electronic format. I do also use E-QSL and confirmations can be had that way also.
Once again, thank you for your interest in the matter.
With my best regards
Derek - J39BS
