Orkney & Shetland location To all concerned...Confirmation that Alex G(M)0DHZ and myself begin our Orkney/Shetland expedition tonight.

The plan is as follows...BUT...extremely WX-dependent. We will concentrate on 20m and 40m (J3E and A1A). When we are on the main EU-009 and main EU-012 islands, we also hope to try 160m.

Sable Island Operation dates have been modified slightly due to logistics matters:
October 21 - 29, 2010.
Unfortunately, Murray, WA4DAN has had to withdraw from the dxpedition, due to business conflicts. He was the original organizer and has been involved with all of the planning, since early in 2009.

Chatham Islands

Dear Sir,

ZL7J will QRV again from September 17 to 21 from Chatham Island by Kaz(JH1HRJ/ZL3JP) on all bands including WARC bands with SSB/CW/RTTY(possible).
160m and 80m will be encouraged by the new antenna system.
QSL card is OK via buro or SASE direct to JH1HRJ(QRZ.com).

The Saba 2010 team has completed all preparations for the activation of Saba beginning 10/10/10. As you know by now, that is the likely date that the Netherlands Antilles will cease to exist and several new DXCC entities will be created as a result. One of those new countries should be Saba/St. Eustatius due to their close proximity. Although, this is not a 100% certainty, it is likely enough to plan an operation.
